The NAUMD will host four entertainment options on Saturday and Sunday. Each attendee may choose to participate in one of these events as NAUMD’s guest.

  • Reservations are taken on a first come, first serve basis.


The Grand Ole Opry,  Saturday, April 29 @ 6:150PM (Leave from the hotel)

This country music icon began with its first live broadcast on November 28, 1925. The radio show has been continuously broadcast on WSM around the world. The first ever performer on the Opry was “Uncle Jimmy Thompson”. Since then, every major country music artist – including Patsy Cline, Hank Williams, Minnie Pearl, Loretta Lynn, Garth Brooks, Carrie Underwood and many more - has performed from it’s stage.

Songwriter Workshop Sunday, April 30 @  2:30PM (Meet in the lobby of the hotel)

Experience this unique opportunity to write Nashville’s next big hit with a successful songwriter and your NAUMD teammates. You will be in competition with other teams. The song you write will be performed at the Sunday evening reception. Applause from the other attendees will determine the winner. (Limited to the first 32 who register)


Country Music Hall of Fame Sunday, April 30  @ 1:30PM (Bus leaves from the hotel)

If Nashville is Music City, then country music is the city’s soul. The Hall of Fame tells the stories of this musical genre than began in the Appalachian mountains. The museum is a mix of historic videos, iconic recordings, interactive exhibits and live performances in a state-of-the-art facility. Visit to understand Nashville.


The Hermitage Golf Club Sunday, April 30  @ 11:30AM (bus leaves from the hotel)

Experience Nashville’s best golf course, The President’s Reserve at the Hermitage. Bent grass greens, zoysia fariways and Big Horn sheep roam the course as you play. Green fees, cart and unlimited range access are all included. (Limited to the first 24 who register)


Note: You are welcome to attend the Grand Ole Opry on Saturday night and participate in one of the Sunday activities. We will need to ask you to reimburse the NAUMD for the cost of the second activity.
